Born and raised in central New Jersey, Dr. Duffy’s roots were firmly planted in the Garden State. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Duffy continued his pursuit of excellence by earning his medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey. Recognized for his dedication and skill, he completed his dermatology residency at Cooper University Hospital, one of the region’s leading training programs.
His commitment to expanding his expertise led him further, with specialized training in pediatric dermatology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, equipping him with invaluable skills in treating skin conditions in children—a reflection of his compassionate approach and desire to serve patients of all ages.
Having developed a deep affection for the Philadelphia and southern New Jersey communities, Dr. Duffy was eager to return to his roots and serve his community through HMGS Dermatology. Outside of his medical career, Dr. Duffy was a man of vibrant interests and passions. An avid cook and baker, he loved exploring recipes from around the world, savoring the flavors and traditions of different cultures. An active individual, he enjoyed hiking and practicing yoga, activities that brought him relaxation and balance amidst his busy schedule. His love for travel and cultural immersion was reflected in his favorite adage, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” Whether learning a new language, dancing a different style, or tasting exotic foods, he embraced every new experience with enthusiasm and an open heart.
